Golf in Philippines

We have 34 golf courses in Philippines in our golf course database.
Golf in the Philippines dates back to, as early as, 1886. It is said that the first game of golf was played by British workers that were visiting on business with the Manila Railway Company.

They had built a 3-hole course to play while they were not working. The sport must have been a hit, because by 1901 9-hole courses were popping up across the country.

The best time for golfing in the Philippines is during dry season, September to May. You will want to bring a bottle of water to keep cool and a hat to keep the sun out of your face because, chances are, it will be hot and humid. Book your excursion along the coast if you are looking for a bit cooler temperatures and possibly a slight breeze.

Famous golf quotes

So my game is solid. So that obviously makes me feel confident, that like anybody else in this field, you name them, I feel like I've got the ability to win the golf tournament just as much as they have, and that's the way I'm going to take it.

FORE! Lee Westwood ball ends up in a woman's shirt !!!

This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.

What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
